The ATP Tour is always changing and one of the changes is taking place right now as the old generation is retiring and young guns are winning big titles.

Roger Federer was the first player from the Big Three to end his career and Rafael Nadal is also struggling with injuries recently. In the meantime, Carlos Alcaraz became the youngest world no. 1 in the world in the history of men's tennis and also the youngest man to reclaim the spot again.

Holger Rune lifted the Paris Masters trophy and entered the Top 10 and Jannik Sinner is solid at almost every major tournament. Also throw in the like of Ben Shelton, who is also one of the rising stars and the future of tennis looks very promising.

However, it's important to promote the sport of tennis and these new players that we may be seeing in the years to come. Bjorn Borg highlights the importance of this as he shared his thoughts in the latest episode of the ATP Tennis Podcast.

"And then you have the new generation coming up with so many good players and it's, it's very important for media to promote this new generation coming up because they are unbelievable."

Borg emphasized the importance of the media promoting new players, despite the fact that Rafael Nadal, Novak Djokovic, and Andy Murray are all still playing. The Swede knows that the change of guards is inevitable.

"They play great tennis, but it's important for the media to promote these players. I mean, you had Federer, Nadal, Djokovic, Murray is still playing, but it's gonna come a new generation coming and to see these guys play, it's amazing. And I mean, I'm the captain of Laver Cup Team Europe, so I see this place, I keep in contact with the European players and it's a nice thing."
