Aslan Karatsev seemingly voiced his disagreement with the recent decision of the All England Club, which will see him miss out on the 2022 Wimbledon Championship.

The 2022 Wimbledon will be held without Russian and Belarusian players as the All England Club has decided to take a decision and ban them; however, many players disagreed with this decision, apparently including Aslan Karatsev.

Andrey Rublev was one of the loudest voices from the Russian players when the world number 8 said that this decision wouldn't help anyone and that Wimbledon should rather donate prize money to people in need.

Aslan Karatsev, who currently practices ahead of the 2022 Madrid Open, an ATP Masters 1000 tournament in the Spanish capital, where he hopes to make his mark, chose an interesting way of voicing his opinion.

Karatsev practiced in a t-shirt that portrayed a tennis player serving inside of a British flag and a title that said - Wimbledon. The Russian has yet to say anything about his decision to wear this t-shirt, but already now, it's obvious that the decision to wear it was not coincidental.

It's a precedential decision, which was for a moment rumored to be followed by the Italian Open in Rome imposing the same ban, but with the event inching closer, it seems that it won't be happening, as there was no other mention of the Russian and Belarusian players potentially missing the tournament.

Aslan Karatsev will be entering the 2022 Madrid Open as unseeded as his fellow countryman Daniil Medvedev will be skipping the event while another two Russians - Andrey Rublev and Karen Khachanov will take part.

But after the clay-court part of the season, the Russians will likely start preparing on the hard courts, as Medvedev already started his preparations, suggesting that he's not hoping for any change of the ban.
