Caroline Wozniacki continued her incredible US Open rhapsody by beating Jennifer Brady from a set and break down.

The opening set was a very interesting one, as we saw pretty much what was outlined prior to the match start. Wozniacki did give Brady some early trouble sending many balls back, and while the American is capable of handling that type of play, she struggled at the start as her consistency is not there yet.

As the set progressed, Brady found better solutions and pulled back the break. Midway through the opening set, both players missed great chances, but at 5-4, Brady got a few more and this time around, she converted them.

Wozniacki was a bit too eager in that set and paid the price for it. She blasted 15 unforced errors, which was too much considering that she needed Brady to do that in order to win the set. The American avoided that and was able to win the set.

Another thing that was missing for Wozniacki was the timely serves that she had against Kvitova. It didn't change in the second set, but she was far more precise from the baseline. Brady was pretty strong as well, actually jumping out to an early lead, but she would give it back right away.

Wozniacki was surprisingly aggressive in the match, but it made sense. She didn't want Brady to control the match, opting to do it herself, and it worked out better in the second set than in the first. The crucial game was at 3-3 when Wozniacki broke and added another one later to win the set.

The former number one carried that good momentum into the next set, taking an early 3-0 lead as Brady struggled. Wozniacki wisely let the American attack, and Brady self-destructed, giving Wozniacki another break.

The final score was 4-6 6-3 6-1 for Wozniacki, who posted a pretty solid 21 winner and 25 unforced error line. Brady had 36 unforced errors, which was too many. 13 of those came in the final set.
