Emma Raducanu has been one of the most successful British tennis players recently, especially thanks to her US Open triumph.
Therefore, it's not a surprise that the Lawn Tennis Association, governing body of tennis in Great Britain, wants to build on her success. Thanks to involvement of the LTA and the Queens Club, Emma Raducanu joined one of the tennis practices with 14 young tennis players that would certainly want to follow in her footsteps.
The club stated: "Last Friday 14 of our pupils had the chance to take part in a Tennis masterclass with Emma Raducanu a HUGE thank you to the Queens Club Fdn and the LTA for making this happen! An AMAZING experience for our pupils."
Raducanu will certainly want to find inspiration in the youngster as she will try to aim for more success in 2023 with her country backing her along the way. After her first full season on the WTA Tour, the British sensation said: “What motivates me to keep training is the satisfaction feeling I get after training and at the end of the day."
"I feel really proud for pushing myself, even if I might not have felt like it,” Raducanu said. “I’m really looking forward to another full year on tour. I just had my first one, and taking the lessons I’ve learnt this year and applying them on to the next one.”
