Ons Jabeur cruised in style towards the Roland Garros quarter-final and she celebrated in style after the win as well.
Ons Jabeur has contested two grand slam finals in her career going empty-handed both times but she's hoping this year's Roland Garros could be number 3 for her. She's one of the winningest players on clay in the past few years though Monday's win got her into the maiden Roland Garros quarter-final.
She's had some troubles this year with injuries that saw her miss the Madrid Open where she was the defending champion. Even so, the level is looking good and the vibes are pretty immaculate as well. Making her way through the venue, Jabeur celebrated with her team following the win and she did it in style.
She pulled out the signature Cristiano Ronaldo 'Siu' celebration eliciting a smile from her husband who then submitted his nomination for husband of the year by quickly taking all of her bags allowing her to easily hug each member of her team. The video of that will be below.
Up next for Jabeur will be Beatriz Haddad Maia who is a tricky matchup but also one she navigated well earlier this year on clay in Stuttgart with an emphatic 6-3, 6-0 win. She'll be hoping for some good crowd support hoping to win over the difficult French crowd. Her French fluency could play a part in that as well as her stylish play.
There are very few things that Jabeur doesn't do in style as we all know how she plays her tennis. The celebrations are now on point as well and the humour and exuberant personality never lacked either.
