It's not something she can't handle, of course, as she's one of the best players we've seen in recent memory. This time last year, nobody expected her to ever play again, but here she is, gearing up for yet another season.
She kept her plans quiet until announcing a surprising imminent return, which happened during the US Open series of events. She played really well, pushing eventual US Open champion Coco Gauff to three sets at the Grand Slam.
After that, Wozniacki announced that she wouldn't be playing any events for the time being, which was a bit surprising but not really when given a second thought. She did confirm that the comeback was still on, and it really is.
