After Patrick Mouratoglou started coaching Simona Halep, Serena Williams had to find someone to work with during her comeback to the WTA Tour and she probably found him.

The tennis world hasn't been able to keep its cool since Serena Williams, a 23-time Grand Slam winner, announced her return to the WTA tour on Tuesday. Williams will be a wildcard in the main draw of the women's singles at the 2022 Wimbledon. In an Instagram post, the American also verified the news.

Aside from the news, she tagged her sister Venus Williams' coach Eric Hechtman, what drew a lot of attention. Later, he re-posted the image on his Instagram story. "LFG! So pumped for this trip with the GOAT," Hechtman wrote. Hechtman spent time as a hitting partner for players such as Rafael Nadal, Roger Federer, Venus Williams, and Serena Williams before turning to coaching.

Mouratoglou, who parted ways with Williams earlier this season, highlighted their split when he said:

"I wanted to be fair to her and not be disappointed at the end of my career. I went to ask her what she was going to do. It wasn't very clear to her. I asked her if she wanted to go to Roland Garros. She told me she didn't know. It was six weeks before the tour. I told her I was waiting for her on Monday for training and if she didn't come I would consider myself free."
