Coco Gauff likes fashion and in a recent interview, she picked Luis Vuitton as her favourite brand while also admitting that she doesn't like spending big money on it.
Coco Gauff is well known for her tennis but similar to other tennis players such as Naomi Osaka, she too has a passion for fashion. The 18-year old spoke about her love for fashion recently revealing what brand her favourite is and whether she pends money on some pieces. She said:
“I would say my favourite designer brand is Louis Vuitton. I like big brands, but I hate spending money. It's a once-in-a-while thing. If I do well in a tournament, I say, ‘Okay, I'm going to buy myself something nice.' I like to buy things for other people, my mom, my family. I like to spoil them a little bit."
She further added:
"For myself, when I like it, I look at the price, ‘Am I really going to wear this the amount of times worth this amount of money?’ Most of the times the answer is no. I do have a couple of things in my closest that were a lot of money, but I'm glad that I bought it”.
She played well in Rome this week but ran into Maria Sakkari who bested her. Up next for her is the French Open.
