Gauff Excited To Play 'Legend' Wozniacki For US Open Quarterfinals

Coco Gauff will face Caroline Wozniacki for a spot in the US Open quarter-finals, and she's excited about the chance to take on a legend.
Gauff has played excellent tennis lately and will enter this matchup on an eight-match winning streak dating back to the Cincinnati Masters. She won that event, putting her name in the hat of possible US Open winners. To get there, she'll need to win a few more matches and hope to avoid last year's result.
She made it to the quarter-final last year and took on Caroline Garcia but lost that match. Gauff must best Caroline Wozniacki, who bested an American in the previous round, to get to another quarter-final. The Dane played many matches like this one and knew what to expect from the crowd as well.

Yeah, it's not going to be an easy matchup. I think she probably knows my game pretty well. I don't know if she commentated on any of my matches. I know she's watched tennis even when she was retired. So I'm sure she knows my game just from watching.
I know a little bit of her just from watching her from growing up. It's going to be really cool. I'm really excited. Playing a legend like her is really exciting. I'm not going to take the moment for granted.
