Emma Raducanu Returns To Practice After Undergoing Three Surgeries

Emma Raducanu is back to working out after spending months away from any tennis-related activities.

Raducanu has been out for a while now after undergoing three surgeries to repair issues that have plagued her for a very long time. The three surgeries addressed issues in both her wrists and her ankle which bothered her since she got injured in Auckland.

The Brit has had a lot of problems with injuries so far in her career as her body struggled to get used to the long and gruelling tennis calendar on the WTA Tour. The hope with the surgeries was that she could finally be fully healthy again and then focus on getting better and improving her tennis.

While being away from the sport, Raducanu largely avoided the spotlight even though she was spotted here and there. She was at Wimbledon at the start of the event meeting fans alongside fellow Brit Jack Draper. Since then she's seemingly back to working out as a possible tennis return nears in the coming weeks.

There was never a strict timetable for her return in the first place, so nobody really knows when she will return. There was some talk that she might possibly return for the US Open or for some of those North American events, though for now, no updates have been provided.

She posted a photo on social media showing herself on an exercise bike with the caption 'First session back', which means that she started her prep. Whether that means that she'll return to the courts soon remains to be seen, but she's closer to it than she was a month ago for sure.

Fans are hopeful that the Brit will finally return fully healthy and hopefully play consistent tennis which should allow her to return to her previous level. Even injured, Raducanu played pretty well earlier this year.
