Sinner Reveals What Was Turning Point Of His Successful 2023 Season

Jannik Sinner had a successful 2023 season on the ATP Tour, and recently, he revealed what was the turning point.

Sinner has been a wonderful player for a few years but never quite got it right to win a big title. He's had a few chances before, making the Miami Open final a few years ago but losing to Hubert Hurkacz in the final.

He got another chance earlier his year but lost in the Miami Open final once more. Another chance came at the Canada Open in Toronto, where he made his way to the final and finally won the big title by beating de Minaur in the final.

It was a hugely important win for Sinner, who played well for much of the year but never got that trophy. Once he finally won that one, things started to change dramatically.

He played better and better and would add a few more trophies until the end of the year. It's what he picked as the most important moment in his 2023 campaign, which unlocked everything else that followed.

The victory in Toronto was a key moment in my season. I had already achieved excellent results since the beginning of the year, but I still couldn't win my first Masters 1000. I lost two finals in Miami. But winning it meant a lot to my career. But we weren't satisfied, we continued to work hard and it allowed us to have a great last part of the season.

Many expect great things from Sinner in the coming year, but we'll see what happens. He has unlocked a new level, and now it's about truly solidifying himself as one of the 3-4 best players in the world.

He also needs to keep healthy, which has been an issue in the past, but something that he knew that he had to work on.
