Nick Kyrgios and Novak Djokovic used to be players that you wouldn't voluntarily put in one room for five minutes, but things changed a lot this year.
It all started when the 27-years-old Australian showed his support to Novak Djokovic, when he was being deported from Australia ahead of the first Grand Slam of the season. Moreover, Nick Kyrgios recently showed that he wants to see his Wimbledon final opponent in Australia when he said:
"I hope he is here, for the sport. We just saw one of the legends leave the sport, Roger, and that’s going to be some shoes that no one is ever going to be able to fill," explained Kyrgios.
During the Wimbledon, he also spoke about a "weird bromance" between them right now that seems to be taking place also a few months after the third Grand Slam of the season. After Kyrgios shared a video from practice courts, Djokovic soon replied with a joking response:
"Is that my serve preparation?" the 21-time Grand Slam champion replied to his Wimbledon final opponent's story. He soon replied: "Haha. That's so funny. Yours is WORSE. MATE YOU TAKE 47283728 hours to serve."
Aware of his longer preparation time, the Serbian replied: "Haha true. Sometimes, not always. Need to work on your super sonic speed routine." Kyrgios shared this conversation on his Instagram story with a caption: "Honestly I never though I'd be having convos like this."
