It is a well-known fact that Nick Kyrgios has one of the most potent serves on tour, and the Australian is certainly aware of his capabilities.
According to many, the man from Down Under, apart from the obvious choices on tour such as John Isner and Reilly Opelka, is definitely right up there with his serving abilities.
It is certainly something he is showcasing this week at the Stuttgart Open, with the grass always lending itself nicely to fast servers.
It is an ideal place for big servers to return to action in fact, with Kyrgios making the comeback from having not played for almost two months.
Proving how much he is still a threat despite not playing, he has defeated the likes of Jiri Lehecka, Nikoloz Basilashvili, and Marton Fucsovics to reach the semifinals in Stuttgart.
Next up will be Andy Murray, whom he defeated four years ago in London, on grass. This is the sort of statistic he will need in his head if he is to overcome the two-time Wimbledon champion. But confidence is something Kyrgios is certainly not short of:
“In the first set he seemed that he was in a groove on his serve. In the first set I wasn’t able to get many opportunities, he was very solid,” Kyrgios said. “I think he really likes the grass. He has had some good results at Wimbledon."
"I wasn’t feeling that great at the back of the court, but if I am serving 215km/h and hitting the good spots on this court it is almost impossible to return. Hopefully I can bring more of that tomorrow.”
It is exactly this sort of serving form he will need to be producing from here on in if he is to live up to pundits' flattering predictions for him.
Serving at 200+ kph will certainly do a lot for him at SW19 where he will be able to see off opponents with ease.
