After Novak Djokovic won 3 Grand Slam titles in 2021 and matched Rafael Nadal and Roger Federer at 20, the Spaniard changed the history in 2022.
It all started with his unexpected triumph at the 2022 Australian Open where no one expected Rafael Nadal to lift his 21st Grand Slam title. Later on, he added his 22nd at the 2022 Roland Garros and got two titles away from his two biggest rivals. The scenario which no one would expect to happen when Novak Djokovic was collecting Grand Slam trophies one after another last year.
Nick Kyrgios, who currently plays at the 2022 Stuttgart Open, and is one of the most successful players against the Big Three, shared his opinion about who is the best out of the trio, when he said:
"Nadal is the best out of the Big 3, because he has won 22 Majors while Djokovic and Federer have 20."
