Carlos Alcaraz Enters Top 30 In All-Time Prize Money Earned After Wimbledon Win

The 2023 Wimbledon Championships triumph was quite a significant one for Carlos Alcaraz in many ways, including prize money.

Carlos Alcaraz has gotten quite used to playing strong tennis and winning trophies, as the Spaniard has 12 ATP trophies so far in his career. It all started back in 2021 when he made the final of the Croatia Open in Umag and defeated Richard Gasquet to win his maiden ATP trophy.

Since then Alcaraz has been on a mission adding 5 more trophies in 2022 including his maiden Grand Slam trophy at the US Open. This year hasn't seen him slow down as he already added six trophies to that tally including the recent Wimbledon.

It's still only July and Alcaraz is certainly expected to add a few more and all that winning is earning him a lot of money. A fan favourite and rising star in the world of tennis, Alcaraz will get plenty of endorsement deals but more importantly, the prize money is already piling up.

The win at Wimbledon increased his overall tally to $19,644,057, which is 30th best all time already. He's only a few years into his career, but he's already in the Top 30 ATP earners of all time. Obviously, much of that has to do with the prize money increasing with every year, but it also shows how good he's really been.

He is behind Goran Ivanisevic for example who watched him defeat Novak Djokovic in the Wimbledon final recently. Michael Chang, a former player is behind Alcaraz at 31 as is for example Andrey Rublev who is number 34 and has a few more years on his back compared to Alcaraz.

Number one is still Novak Djokovic who is quite lonely at the top as he has about 40 million more in earnings compared to Roger Federer. Djokovic's tally is currently $171,254,424.
