Andy Murray has quite an interesting life story especially when it comes to his tennis career and he hopes to inspire others.

Besides being one of the best tennis players from Great Britain of all time, Murray also does a lot of work outside of the tennis court. From being very invested in charity to forcing himself to play tennis with a metal hip. He's just a person that gives his all into everything he's doing.

The way his career unfolded was a bit unfortunate with the injury but perhaps that is something that most people will remember him for. Being able to play so well against all odds is something he understands has to do with a lot of luck but he also hopes that it inspires others to never stop believing as he revealed in a talk with Tennis Majors.

That’s not something I’ve really thought about. But I would be happy if it might inspire other players, particularly amateur tennis players, to never give up and believe that anything is possible. I think I’m really lucky to have had my surgery when I did, with a great team around me.

Murray looked back on his injuries and the surgeries noting that he was fortunate to be operated at this age. Had he been operated a decade or two decades ago there is a good chance he never would have lived these moments.

Perhaps if I’d done it when Guga had his operations, things might have been different. I know how lucky I am to be able to be playing again and really enjoying being back on tour and hope to be out there for a while yet.

One of the things that showed how hard it was for him was the documentary he did. It's a very good one and worth watching though the Brit was disappointed that he wasn't given the same permission Netflix was for their one.

It was an incredibly tough time for me. I tried to show that in my documentary. I don’t think you can underestimate how difficult the low points are, but you have to stick to the plan, work hard and surround yourself with good people who are on the journey with you.

In the coming week, Murray will compete at the Monte-Carlo Masters for the first time in six years. In the first round, he was drawn against Alex de Minaur from Australia.
