Coach Juan Carlos Ferrero worries about Carlos Alcaraz's aggressive playstyle, but the young talent remains unwavering in his commitment to stay true to his game.

Rising tennis star Carlos Alcaraz has been turning heads with his relentless, no-holds-barred approach to the game. His unyielding determination to chase down every ball, even those deemed impossible, has been both a blessing and a curse.

While his innate fighting spirit has garnered attention and admiration, it has also raised concerns among his coaching team, particularly his coach, Juan Carlos Ferrero. According to Ferrero, Alcaraz's refusal to ease up on certain shots could potentially lead to unnecessary physical strain and injury. The coach has tried to instill a sense of discernment in his young protégé, advising him to be more selective when it comes to chasing down balls.

"We tell him there are balls that are not necessary but when he comes out he tries not knowing if it will come right, wrong or fatal. There are balls that are impossible and it would be better to leave them, but fighting, running it's in his DNA."

However, Alcaraz remains steadfast in his conviction, asserting that his all-out style of play is what defines him as a player.

"Every time I enter the court I don't think about putting the handbrake on, it's my style of play. It may be that I wear out more or less, but I know my body and my physical abilities, recovering I also consider myself quite good."

Alcaraz, aware of the potential for increased wear and tear on his body, is confident in his ability to recover and manage the physical demands of professional tennis. He acknowledges that there may be some discomfort associated with his aggressive playstyle, but he sees it as a necessary part of pushing himself to excel in every match.

"Simply, discomfort is coming out that needs to be controlled, the season is very long and the demand on a tennis player is maximum. You have to be clear about the calendar and the tournaments, but nothing stops you from playing at the top of each game."
