Wozniacki Reveals How She Handles Mom Duties During Tennis Comeback

Playing very good tennis is nothing unusual for Caroline Wozniacki, but doing so while being a mother is certainly something new.

Since hanging up the racquet a few years ago, Wozniacki became a mother to two beautiful children. That's a new thing in her life as she never juggled a tennis career and being a mother, but plenty have proven that it's possible to do.

After making a successful return in Montreal at the 2023 Canadian Open, Wozniacki talked about that aspect of her comeback and how she's been handling an increased amount of time on a tennis court with her daily commitment to her children.

Well, first of all, it was so strange because I went to bed last night, and I go, wait, so the kids have to wake up, and then we eat breakfast together, and then, wait, how does that fit in with my schedule?

I could sleep in tomorrow, but I also -- so that was kind of a different mindset. I didn't really think about, I guess, beforehand. I was, like, you know what, I'll wake up half an hour early morning. That was kind of, you know, one where I was -- I

While it might be a bit strange right now, things will settle with time, and then it will become a typical thing for Wozniacki. She did have a lovely moment with her daughter, who wished her good luck in the match, hoping for a win. Well, mama delivered.

And I tried to explain to Olivia I was going to play a match, and she goes: Okay, Mama, I have a wish. I wish you win. I was, like, where does she get that from? That was pretty cool. Just different.

She will face the reigning Wimbledon champion, Marketa Vondrousova in the next round, after the Czech player defeated Mayar Sherif from Egypt.
