Novak Djokovic is unsure whether he'll be able to play any other Olympics after the 2024 Games in Paris.
Djokovic has played at a few Olympic Games, but this upcoming edition in Paris could be his last one. The event is hugely important for him, basically a priority, as the gold medal is something he's yet to win.
It's one of the rare tournaments he has never won, and while he has won a bronze medal for his country in the past, he wants that elusive gold one.
This year might be his final chance at it because he's unsure whether he'll play at those coming after this. It would be in 2028 when he would be 40 years old, and who knows what kind of health and status he would be then.
"Well, I'm thinking about it and I, I think it is possible if I don't think it's possible, I probably would not be playing Olympic Games. So, you know, you always have to believe that everything is possible in life."
"And the Olympic Games are the oldest and most prestigious sporting events in the history of the sport. It's a huge honor to be representing Serbia in the Olympic Games."
He hasn't played that well this year, so he hopes to do well at these Games. Nothing after that is confirmed, so for him, these upcoming Olympic Games are everything he's thinking about.
"So I hope I can be healthy and fit and I hope I can play my best tennis because at the end of the day, who knows if I get another chance to play the Olympic games. They only come every four years."
"I said recently that I would really want to play at least till LA Olympic Games, but you never know, you know at this stage what can happen or how far I can go. So I'll try to use this opportunity as best possible."
