WATCH: Djokovic crosses the net to help injured Sinner at Wimbledon

Novak Djokovic and Jannik Sinner played a great quarterfinal match at the 2022 Wimbledon and for a while it seemed that the Italian might cause a surprise.

Jannik Sinner was leading by two sets in his third Grand Slam quarterfinal, but couldn't turn his lead into the victory against Novak Djokovic. However, the Italian fought for every point as he also injured himself when trying to catch a ball during the fourth set.

Despite being two breaks down in the fourth set, Sinner had a breakpoint in the eight game of the set and wanted to start his comeback in the set. However, he couldn't catch one of the balls and injured himself.

His opponent, Djokovic, quickly noticed that Sinner is on the ground in pain and crossed the net to help him. He received ovations for his actions and the match continued, but the Italia wasn't able to produce the same level as in the first two sets anymore.
