Novak Djokovic has a tremendous 2023 campaign, and as you might have guessed, he's not thinking about stopping anytime soon.

Djokovic is not planning to stop his career anytime soon, even though he's 36 and gets asked about it way too often. He just had one of his best seasons ever in 2023, at the age of 36, playing against players that are about a decade younger on average or even more.

That's preposterous, and yet it happened. And something similar could certainly happen next year as well. So why would he stop? There is absolutely no reason to stop, as he admitted to Eurosport in a recent interview in Riyadh, that he'll keep pushing for as long as he can.

I'm still trying to push as long as I can and win Grand Slams, you know, be a contender for the spot of the world and trying to make more history of the sport. That's the drive, that's the motivation. I'm still feeling very good in my own body.
You know at this age playing one of the best season that I had in my career in 2023. So, you know I'm going to keep going and see how far it gets me.

Obviously, there are many factors that will impact how long Djokovic will be playing, such as health and just what he can do on the court, but as things stand right now, there doesn't seem to really be a deadline.

He's looked as good as he's ever looked in recent years, so stopping makes no sense. We'll see how the Australian Open goes, as it's been one of his best events.

If he dominates and wins it again, you'll have your answer. If he gets beaten, well, then we can start talking about his longevity in tennis.
