Jannik Sinner's coach, Simone Vagnozzi, thinks that Carlos Alcaraz managed to enjoy more success during his teenage years than the Big Three.

Alcaraz is the first enormous talent since the Big Three era started. Novak Djokovic, Rafael Nadal, and Roger Federer all redefined what was possible, and now, there is a man, or in this case a teenager, who wants to push it to another level.

At 19, Alcaraz is already a Grand Slam champion, and he also reached the World No. 1 rank. The whole tennis world is following his journey, and that applies also to the coaches of his rivals.

Jannik Sinner's coach, Simone Vagnozzi, recently spoke to UbiTennis, explaining that Alcaraz was an incredible player already when he was 15 years old.

"If you watch a match of Alcaraz when he was 15 years old you see that he could do more or less all the things he does even now: he plays dropshots, he comes to the net, he does serve and volley; it’s a path he has been completing over time."

There haven't been too many players who would be compared to Djokovic, Nadal, and Federer. However, since the day he broke through, Alcaraz's name has often been mentioned in the same sentence.

According to Mats Wilander, the Spaniard can have similar impact on tennis as Federer had, and according to Vagnozzi, Alcaraz's teenage career has been even better than that of the Big Three.

"Well, we’re talking about a phenomenon. At 19 years old, nobody played like that, not even the all-time greats, such as Djokovic, Rafa or Federer. No one was as complete as he is when they were 19 years old. He is surely going to improve, and be at the top for many, many years."
