Despite the huge rivalry on the tennis courts, Novak Djokovic admits that he would like to play golf with Rafael Nadal as a friend.
Novak Djokovic has triumphed in 30 out of 58 meeting against Rafael Nadal on the ATP Tour. While the Spaniard lifted 21 Grand Slam trophies, his Serbian rival won 20 and both are great rivals in the world of tennis. However, at the 2022 Italian Open, current world number 1 admitted that he would play other game than tennis with Nadal.
Both players are really good golf players as it's one of their favourite hobbies. Now, Djokovic suggested that it might be fun to play a game of golf against Nadal one day, just as a friend. However, he later added that probably it will end up with both trying to win anyway.
"I think Rafael Nadal and I have challenged too many times on the tennis court. One day we could play golf just as friends, but knowing ourselves it will end we both of us try to win."
