Novak Djokovic will return to Roland Garros in shades of red hoping to channel previous successful spells at the event in those colours.
Red is a fierce colour and it's favoured by many. Djokovic seemingly considers himself one of them as his 2023 Roland Garros outfit will once again feature the colour prominently. He wore it in 2021 when he won the event.
He wore a shade of it last year but this time around it wasn't enough to overcome Rafael Nadal who defeated him in the quarterfinals. This year's shade will again be a form of red as he hopes to go all the way once more. With no Nadal this year, perhaps it does the trick.
It's going to be a tricky endeavour in any case as his form this clay season hasn't been the best with almost weekly struggles that eroded all the points he earned in last year's clay campaign sending him down to number 3 on the rankings.
There have been some worries with his body overall because an elbow issue seemed to be a persistent thing in all of his matches throughout this clay season. According to former player Andy Roddick, Djokovic will need to get his body right if he hopes to win Roland Garros.
Doubting him would be wrong as he's done it so many times in the past and some players are not doing it. Holger Rune picked him to win the event in spite of all the troubles he faced in the previous weeks.
We won't have to wait a long time to find out how he does in Paris because the event is coming up fairly quickly. It will certainly be a huge one for his legacy and you can see what he will be wearing in the social media post below.
