Sebastian Korda looks really good on the court right now, but Karen Khachanov made even better players look bad, so can he do it again at the 2023 Zhuhai Championships?
Karen Khachanov missed much of this summer due to an injury that he picked up in Halle, and it was very annoying for him. He was arguably playing the best tennis season of his life, but then disaster struck, and he missed out on Wimbledon for the second year in a row.
It's a shame because he loves the event and was just playing amazing. The return recently didn't go as well which was normal as he missed such a long time. He's finally back to winning ways in China and hopes to book a final though he'll have to go through Korda who has been pretty crazy this week.
We know that Korda can hit these amazing peaks where he seems borderline unbeatable. That's been happening this week and it's good to see though not if you're named Karen Khachanov. So how did the matchup go?

Khachanov and Korda actually played a few times already on the ATP Tour, and the score is tied. It's 2-2 with the most recent match, this year in Melbourne, going to Khachanov. It was an odd match because Korda was injured and couldn't play how he hoped to, and it showed.
It's an entirely different matchup this time around because Khachanov is the one who doesn't look as sharp compared to Korda who has been amazing.
Prediction:
So, will the American get the revenge this time around? I think so because he'll be really strong. The serve is working well, the forehand is on fire and that's all he needs. Khachanov isn't near his peak yet, but he's getting there.
The only thing that is in his favour is the stability in his game. He's going to be solid as opposed to Korda who is likely to be great, but you just never know.
