After Minor Lapsus Alcaraz Feels His Top Level Is Now Back Ahead Of Djokovic Showdown

Carlos Alcaraz endured some tough weeks on the ATP Tour, failing to hit his best level, but he's back at it this week at the 2023 ATP Finals in Turin.

Finding your best tennis for the ATP Finals is really good timing, and he needed it badly. After some disappointing weeks, Alcaraz finally plays the way he knows is good both for him and the Tour.

He needed it because his confidence seemed to have taken a hit. But now, he'll take on the world no. 1, Novak Djokovic, in the semifinals of the ATP Finals, and it will be a showdown everyone wants to see.

He lost the first match and didn't look that spectacular in it, but after a talk with his coach, Juan Carlos Ferrero, Alcaraz was able to find his best level. He's giving it his all, so it's good to see things working out.

Yeah, I feel that I am playing the same level that I've been playing the first part of the year. I spoke with Juan Carlos after the first match about give everything that I have in this tournament. Is the last tournament of the year. It's time to give my 100%, my everything on these matches.

After not feeling his best in Paris and not enjoying time on the court, Alcaraz rediscovered the joy this week. He found it in the match against Andrey Rublev, and obviously, it followed over to the next match against Daniil Medvedev, as he won that one, too.

The match against Rublev. It was pretty good. Of course, the key is to realize the level I have to play. Doesn't matter if I win or I lose, just think about enjoy on the court, stay apart of all the results, to classify or not, just to put my own game, enjoy on the court.
