Naomi Osaka and Nick Kyrgios started another cooperation away from the tennis courts as they became co-owners of the Miami Pickleball Club.

Osaka and Kyrgios are among the best players on their respective Tours. While the Japanese player already has four Grand Slam titles to her name, and she was also the WTA World No. 1 player, Kyrgios proved his undeniable talent more significantly this year.

There was never a doubt that the Australian has been one of the most talented players on the ATP Tour, but in 2022, he won his first Grand Slam doubles title at the Australian Open, and he also played in the major singles final at the Wimbledon Championships.

Although it was a losing effort, it was a great season for Kyrgios, not only on the tennis courts but also away from them. Earlier this year, Kyrgios joined forces with Osaka when he joined her agency, EVOLVE, which the Japanese player founded with her agent Stuart Duguid after leaving the IMG (International Management Group).

Now, they will go on another business adventure together. Through his Instagram profile, Kyrgios announced that he and Osaka became co-owners of the Miami Pickleball Club. He also announced their draft picks.

Players who will represent the Miami Pickleball Club are Alix Truong, Regina Goldberg, and Matt Manasse.

"Introducing the Miami Pickleball Club. Big welcome to our draft picks, Alix Truong, Regina F Goldberg, and Matt Manasse."

In his post, Kyrgios also tagged a few fellow athletes. NBA legends LeBron James and Kevin Durant, and the greatest NFL player of all time, Tom Brady, are all owners of pickleball clubs as well.

"We are coming for you LeBron James, Kevin Duran, Tom Brady."

Osaka briefly commented on acquiring the club, happy that it's located in Miami, which is often called 305 because of the area code.

"So cool to engage in another sport and excited it’s in the 305."
