During Paris Fashion Week, Emma Raducanu attended the debut of the new Dior collection and spoke with Vogue Magazine about it.
Because she is preparing to return to competition, Raducanu's trip to Paris was brief, but she enjoyed herself while she was there. Raducanu thinks Paris is one of the most beautiful cities, and he also likes the food there.
"I love Paris and the food, so I always try to have some good meals. I was only in Paris for a very short time though, so I didn’t have a chance to do too much. I did get around the city a little bit – it’s so pretty!”
Raducanu admitted that, while not being overly interested in fashion, she enjoys dressing up for occasions like these even though, in private, she prefers a more relaxed and comfortable style. She shared her thoughts when asked what she thought of the collection:
"This was my first show. It was really exciting to see all the buzz – and obviously all the different styles and outfits. I loved the whole atmosphere, from the set design to the music to the dancers. It was pretty epic and very cool."
"The historic Paris theme that still kept modern features worked so well. I really liked the looks with the old historic Paris map designs on different skirts and corsets."
While grateful for the chance to attend the show for Raducanu it's mostly tennis at the moment as she explained her immediate plans:
"I’ll be playing tournaments in Czech Republic, Romania and Mexico the next three weeks. It was nice that there was a gap in the schedule that allowed me to attend fashion week with Dior – but it’s right back to training and preparing for the next tournament."
