The 2024 Bad Homburg Open will run from June 23rd to 29th, and details of prize money for this grass-court tournament have been revealed.

This is the last tournament on the road to Wimbledon and will operate concurrently with another WTA 500 grass-court event, the Eastbourne International in the United Kingdom.

The entry list for the 2024 edition was released almost two weeks ago and features a fantastic lineup spearheaded by reigning Wimbledon champion Marketa Vondrousova. She'll be joined by Maria Sakkari as one of the Top 10 representatives.

Players such as Beatriz Haddad Maia, Liudmila Samsonova, and Ekaterina Alexndrova add strength in depth and can be trusted to leave an impact on this year's tournament with their unconstrained power.

Mirra Andreeva, Emma Navarro, and Linda Noskova are among the young players who have exceeded expectations in the first half of the season. The trio will be in action at this WTA 500 event.

The tournament has committed a prize money purse of $922,573, almost four times last year's total when it was part of the WTA 250 category.

The significant increase from 12 months ago will be reflected in all rounds of the main draw in Bad Homburg. The champion, therefore, stands to take home $142,000 in monetary compensation and 500 ranking points that will impact their world ranking.

This is an increase of over $100,000 from last season when Katerina Siniakova won the event. The runner-up will grow their net worth by $87,655 and receive 325 points.

The semifinalists will receive a generous $51,205 and 195 points. The quarterfinalists, meanwhile, will earn almost half of that amount, $24,200, and receive 108 points.

Prize money distribution begins in the first round, with players who exit the tournament at the first hurdle taking home $8,860 and 1 point. Be sure to check the complete breakdown of this year's prize money for the 2024 Bad Homburg Open below.
