According to reports in Serbian media, Novak Djokovic will host a press conference in Belgrade, but there is no indication why.

The past two years were really interesting for Djokovic. He couldn't compete in Australia and the United States, but this year, he was finally able to showcase his skill Down Under, which resulted in his 22nd Grand Slam win.

The Serbian proved to be better than everyone in Melbourne, beating Stefanos Tsitsipas in straight sets in the final, while also overcoming the likes of Tommy Paul, Andrey Rublev, Alex de Minaur, and Grigor Dimitrov on his way to the final.

After that, he stayed out of the public eye, but just recently, he celebrated his triumph with his fans, and now, it seems that he will hold a press conference in Belgrade.

It's not clear why or what Djokovic will talk about, but some chatter in the media suggests it might be about his Australian Open win and the infamous injury, which he said that he would provide proof for.

On the other hand, others say it's about his appeal to enter the United States as an unvaccinated person, with some speculating that he might have gotten the green light, which is why he's staging this grand occasion.

Coming up soon in the ATP Tour calendar are two big tournaments, also called the Sunshine Double. First, the Indian Wells Masters, after which, the Miami Open is played, and both may be crucial in Djokovic's attempt to hold the world no. 1 rank.

As per journalist Adam Addicott, a Serbian outlet Sportal stated that Djokovic will be holding a press conference, and obviously, the 22-time Grand Slam champion knows why he wants to hold it.

"I know everything, but I can’t tell you anything, sorry. I decided to have a press conference."
