Carlos Alcaraz is making moves in the fashion world as the Spaniard is now officially a brand ambassador.
The Spaniard is not just a big name in tennis and on the ATP Tour, but also a big name in general. As his popularity is increasing he's getting more chances to branch out away from tennis. He did a photo shoot for Calvin Klein not too long ago and now is dipping his toes into the fashion world as well.
Alcaraz was named as the latest brand ambassador for Louis Vuitton with a public announcement on Wednesday, June 28th. The Spaniard was delighted about the chance to work with the brand having been drawn to them from the start.
For me, Louis Vuitton is really a brand that I have always looked to and when the opportunity to work with the team arose, it instantly felt like a perfect partnership. I was really invested from the start.”
Alcaraz has been interested in fashion for a while after spending most of his time in sports gear. Similar to what Emma Raducanu said last year, Alcaraz likes to dress up from time to time because he generally doesn't get to do that often. He confirmed his excitement about learning more about fashion and expressing himself through clothing.
I really want to know more about it and be more into fashion. I think it’s a very interesting world and it excites me It’s difficult to define oneself. What I can say is that I like having a wardrobe with basic timeless items, and then combining them with more fashion-led pieces.
The Spaniard will hope that this collaboration will go as well as his tennis has lately. A first maiden trophy in Queen's recently with high hopes ahead of Wimbledon. Either way, it's exciting times for the Spaniard recently.
