Tennis is a pretty lucrative sport if you can get to the top, and Andrey Rublev proved it yet again by passing $20 million in career earnings.

The Russian is one of the best players in the world and has been for a few years now. He's just secured another Top 10 finish and will play at the ATP Finals once more.

It's going to be his fourth time at the event, proving that he's been Top 8 for a fourth consecutive year. He's also won a couple of trophies along the way, 14 to be precise, some of which have been huge, like the Masters he won earlier this year.

As the sport exploded in popularity over the years, so did the earnings increase. There were plenty of great players in the past. However, the prize money wasn't as good as it's now, which is they the top earners list is mostly dominated by players who played in the last 15 years or so.

Rublev is on that list, becoming the 30th man ever to pass 20 million in career earnings. He's now ahead of players like compatriot Marat Safin, who won Grand Slams and was actually number one at one point, but again, the prize money wasn't as high as it's today.

Rublev passed it after his Paris Masters efforts, so he now sits at $20,146,588 ahead of Goran Ivanisevic, who is 31st with $19,878,007. He's got a few names ahead that he'll pass pretty soon, such as Milos Raonic, who is 29th, Stefan Edberg, who is 28th, and Andy Roddick, who is 27th.

With the way his career has been progressing, Rublev is certain to crack $30 million at one point, which would put him in the Top 10 of earnings among players like Alexander Zverev, Stan Wawrinka, Daniil Medvedev, David Ferrer, and Marin Cilic.
