The 2024 Swiss Open will serve as a warm-up tournament for the Paris Olympics, and details of prize money have been revealed.

The tournament is played in Gstaad, an upscale town in the Bernese Oberland region of the Swiss Alps, surrounded by picturesque alpine landscapes.

But that's not the only motivational factor for the ATP players who will make the trip to compete from July 15th to 21st. The tournament organizers announced a total prize money of €579,320, which is an increase of nearly 3% from last year.

There will be a plethora of exciting matches throughout the week, given the amount of talent in the entry list. Seven of the world's Top 20 players have already committed to play.

Current Top 10 players Alex de Minaur and Hubert Hurkacz will lead the line. Stefanos Tsitsipas and Tommy Paul will join them. Then, the likes of Ugo Humbert, Felix Auger-Aliassime, Nicolas Jarry, and Tomas Martin Etcheverry will look to pose a danger to the higher-ranked players.

Prize money distribution for this tournament will begin in the first round, with players who exit at this stage earning €6,215 but not receiving ranking points.

Those with financial and ranking ambitions will certainly need to win a match or two. Second-rounders will earn €10,165 and receive 25 points. Players who make it to the quarterfinal stage are guaranteed compensation of €17,510 and 50 points.

The semifinalists in Gstaad will each receive €30,220 and 100 points. The two men who play the final will be the biggest beneficiaries of the prize money pot.

The champion will collect a paycheck amounting to €88,125 (at least €2,520 higher than last year) and will be awarded 250 points. The runner-up, meanwhile, will earn €51,400 and receive 165 points. The full overview for the 2024 Swiss Open in Gstaad can be accessed below.
