2024 Mallorca Championships ATP Entry List - Shelton, Monfils, Thiem & More

The 2024 Mallorca Championships is a preparatory tournament for Wimbledon, and the entry list has been revealed.
This is a 250-level event and the only ATP grass-court tournament being held in Spain. It will run from June 23rd to 29th. Daniil Medvedev and Stefanos Tsitsipas won the first two editions.
However, Christopher Eubanks became the first player outside the world's Top 10 to win in Mallorca when he defeated Adrian Mannarino in last year's final to lift his first ATP title.
Competition is expected to be fierce for the 2024 edition, with the big-serving American electing to defend his crown before heading to London. Mannarino, who has not lost before the semifinal at the event, will make his third trip to the western Mediterranean.
Ben Shelton is the highest-ranked player on the initial sign-up list. France's Ugo Humbert is the other top-20 player in the field. The top four best-ranked players in Mallorca are all lefties.
Aside from Shelton, Humbert, and Mannarino, there will be a Chilean presence in the shape of Alejandro Tabilo. The likes of Luciano Darderi and Tomas Machac have impressed playing on clay and hard courts this season. They'll aim to carry that momentum on grass.
It's been 20 years since Gael Monfils made his ATP debut, but a grass-court title is missing from his resume. This will be a massive opportunity for the 37-year-old to end that barren spell in a wide-open field.
Players like Jordan Thompson and Marton Fucsovics have grass-court pedigree and will play. Two confirmed wild cards are Dominic Thiem, who is playing his final year on the pro tour, and Italy's Fabio Fognini.
The event will evoke poignant memories for the Austrian because he suffered the wrist injury that caused his big fall from grace. The initial entry list for the 2024 Mallorca Championships can be seen below.
