Carlos Alcaraz is a beast on the court, but off it, the Spaniard is just like any other teenager and he shared what that looks like.

At age 19, Alcaraz became the youngest ATP player ever to be ranked number one but the Spaniard doesn't alter the way he lives even after all of that success. Always modest, Alcaraz discussed his personal life in a recent interview given after winning the US Open.

"When we’re at home, my parents tell me what I have to do. You know––‘Do this, do that,’ just normal parent-kid stuff. I’m normal. I’m a normal guy." said Alcaraz.

"When you’re a kid, you always want to be like someone, you know?. It was incredible for me to grow up watching [the Big 3’s] matches. Just the best guys in the world, dominating the ATP, winning for so many years. That helped me to be like them––well, to try to be like them.” added Alcaraz.

He played against and beat both Nadal and Djokovic, but he never faced Federer, and unfortunately, he won't get the chance now that the Swiss great has declared his retirement. Alcaraz posted a heartfelt message on social media for him.
