As every Monday on the ATP Tour, the players can now see the points they acquired over the previous week, next to their names.
One player did not change his total at all, but he certainly won't be sad about it.
Novak Djokovic was forced to skip the ATP 1000 events in Indian Wells and Miami and his points total remained at 7160. However, since
Carlos Alcaraz couldn't defend his title in Miami, the Serb moved back to first place in the
ATP Rankings.
On the other hand, the 19-year-old Spaniard slipped to the second position with 6780 points, but after the semifinal loss,
he admitted that he's not thinking about losing the no. 1 spot.
Stefanos Tsitsipas remained third in the rankings after
he lost in the fourth round in Miami and kept his 5770 points.
Closing up on the Greek is
Daniil Medvedev in fourth with 5150 points. The Russian
won in Miami and thanks to winning 24 of his last 25 matches, he's rising in the rankings every week. Last year's finalist,
Casper Ruud won't be so happy when he checks the rankings as he dropped again, now to fifth with 5005 points.
The gap between the Top 5 and the rest of the Top 10 is quite significant. Sixth
Andrey Rublev, who also improved by one place, has 3470 points. Right behind him is
Felix Auger-Aliassime with 3450 points and
Holger Rune is catching up to the two with 3370 points.
Jannik Sinner will want to forget
his health struggles from the Miami Open final and looking into the new ATP Rankings may help him do that. The Italian returned to the Top 10 and he's now ninth with 3345 points, only 135 points from the sixth Rublev.
Rounding up the Top 10 is
Taylor Fritz with 3065 points. One of the most significant moves was made by
Karen Khachanov, who
lost in the semifinals in Miami and jumped five places to 11th in the latest ATP Rankings. To see all movements,
