The new WTA Rankings are out and despite an eventful week in Miami, there aren't many changes in the Top 10.

Iga Swiatek completed the Sunshine Double last year, but her campaign at the two WTA 1000 events was much less-successful this year. The young Pole was certainly happy with her semifinal appearance in Indian Wells, but then, she was forced to withdraw from the Miami Open because of an injury.

Although she lost 1000 points in the WTA Rankings because of her last year's triumph, Swiatek still remains the world no. 1 with 8975 points. However, her gap to the 2nd place is getting smaller almost every week. When starting the season, the Pole led by more than 6000 points, now it's only around 2000 points.

In the second place, Aryna Sabalenka is making life difficult for the 21-year-old. The Belarusian lost in the quarterfinals in Miami, but she still improved her last year's performance and added 205 points next to her name to increase her total to 6945.

Third is one of the two Americans in the Top 10. Jessica Pegula has 5605 points and she's followed by Caroline Garcia who has 4990 next to her name. Rounding up the Top 5 is Ons Jabeur, who is trying to get back to her top form, and currently has 4866 points.

Sixth is Coco Gauff. The young American wasn't so successful in singles at the Miami Open but she triumphed in doubles alongside the American singles no. 1 Jessica Pegula. Gauff has 4346 points and her lead over the seventh Elena Rybakina, who lost in the Miami final, is very small as the Kazakh has 4305 points.

Daria Kasatkina stayed eighth with 3375 points and Maria Sakkari moved up by one place to 9th as she has 3191 points next to her name.

The newest addition to the Top 10 is Petra Kvitova with 3162 points. The Czech won her biggest title in five years and she was rewarded for it with a return among the elite ten. On the other hand, Belinda Bencic couldn't defend her points and dropped to 11th place.

The mover of the week is certainly Sorana Cirstea, who played her first WTA 1000 semifinal since 2013 and moved up by 33 places to 41st. If you want to see the full WTA Rankings, be sure to check them out on our dedicated page.
