Andy Murray recently confirmed his desire to transition into coaching once his career is over and he confirmed Emma Raducanu is the type of player he'd like to coach.

In a recent interview with ATP uncovered, Andy Murray spoke about all things tennis mentioning that he could see himself as a coach in the future. Not only that, he would actually like to be a coach in the future and during an interview at the Hall of Fame Open in Newport, Murray double down on that.

He explained that his ideal type of player to coach is someone who likes to work on his craft, someone who works really hard on it and who truly enjoys the game.

Asked to pick out of the current lineup of tennis players, Murray gave it a thought and then chose Raducanu, Alcaraz, Tsitsipas and Draper.

"Female player would be Emma [Raducanu] and male player would be between [Carlos] Alcaraz, [Stefanos] Tsitsipas and Jack Draper. They work hard, they seem like they love the sport. Alcaraz and Tsitsipas haven't won a slam yet. They’re obviously still very young and I think they have the potential to do it."
