New Year's Eve is slowly approaching, and that only means one thing in tennis - Gulf tennis returns with a set of exhibitions, including one in Abu Dhabi that has a star-studded field.

As we slowly bid farewell to the 2023 season, we are slowly marching towards the next 2024 season. As always, it begins in the Gulf with a set of exhibitions that give players a nice warm-up for the events coming up after we officially flip our calendars to 2024.

The season picks up pretty quickly with the Australian Open, so getting an early preparation is vital, and these exhibitions serve as the perfect setup for that. They generally feature some of the best in the world, which these players generally face, so that's a good way to prepare.

In any case, tennis will return to Abu Dhabi once more for the World Tennis League, which took place last year as well. Multiple players will be spread out in teams that will battle it out for the trophy. Last year's edition featured many great players, and that's going to be the case this year as well.

It will run from December 21st till the 24th and will feature some of the best in the world. Players that were confirmed as of now include Daniil Medvedev, Aryna Sabalenka, Elena Rybakina, Iga Swiatek, Stefanos Tsitsipas, and Andrey Rublev.

I’m excited to be returning for this season and really looking forward to seeing who I’ll be joining on court at this year’s World Tennis League. Last year, we had a great time on and off the court, and I’m hoping this will help me to prepare for next season.
