The 2024 Rouen Open will run from April 15th to 21st, in its first edition as a newly minted tour-level tournament.

The entry list for the event has been released. It features an impressive lineup of former Top 20 players, including two Grand Slam champions. Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova, the top seed, is the highest-ranked player in the field.

The Russian isn't the only player who has headlined a French Open final. American Sloane Stephens has a strong affinity for clay and reached a final at St. Malo and the second week of Roland Garros last year competing on the dirt.

Mirra Andreeva will be among the youngsters to watch during the week. She will be among the top eight seeds. French players include Caroline Garcia, Clara Burel, and Diane Parry. They can expect a lion's share of support from the locals.

Former World No. 1 Karolina Pliskova has already won a WTA 250 this year and will be a threat on any surface. Sofia Kenin is a former Roland Garros finalist and cannot be ruled out from hitting her stride in Rouen.

In terms of prize money, the tournament will commit a total of $267,082 in its inaugural event. The breakdown is as follows: The champion will walk away with a paycheck amounting to $35,250.

The vanquished finalist will earn less than that: $20,830. Semifinalists will each pocket $11,610. Quarterfinalists will receive $6,608. Even players who only win a single main draw match will be compensated to the tune of $4,040.

Points allocation begins in the opening round (1 point). Second-rounders will receive 30 points. Reaching the quarterfinal stage is the equivalent of 54 points. Those who make it to the weekend and lose in the semifinal will receive 98 points.

The champion will receive the full 250 ranking points, while the runner-up will receive 163 points. Be sure to check the complete summary of prize money for the 2024 Rouen Open below.
