As every WTA event, the 2023 Bogota Open also offers reasonable prize money and points to player competing.
The 2023 Bogota Open, also referred to as the Copa Colsanitas, will be contested from April 3rd to 9th, 2023 and the draw includes names such as Eugenie Bouchard, Elise Mertens, Dayana Yastremska, Sara Errani, and last year's winner, Tatjana Maria.
They will all fight for their share of the overall purse of $259,303 that will be distributed in Colombia. The winner takes $34,228 of that total and 280 points are added to their name in the WTA Rankings.
The defeated finalist will be rewarded with 180 points and $20,226 while two semifinalists that don't get into the final stage will need to settle with 110 points and $11,275.
Everyone will get their share as the first-round losers will get 1 point and $2,804 while those that will be eliminated in the second round will be awarded with 30 points and $3,920.
