Carlos Alcaraz will be a very busy man during the holiday season, as he seemingly won't be stopping during the off-season.

Alcaraz has had a very solid finish to the season at the ATP Finals, even though the last match he played was a losing effort. Novak Djokovic ousted him from the competition, but we won't have to wait long to see him back on the court.

He's actually scheduled to play an exhibition match against Tommy Paul in Mexico on November 29th, 2023. That's been in the works for a very long time, as the city hosted a few of those in the past.

Nick Kyrgios played there, as did Rafael Nadal and Casper Ruud. After that, as Puntodebreak reports, it's going to be a short vacation for the Spaniard who is set to visit the Dominic Republic, where he'll rest before the 2024 season.

Following the vacation, Alcaraz will spend most of his time in Spain, where he'll prepare for the new season at Juan Carlos Ferrero's academy.

December 27th will be the huge match against Novak Djokovic in Riyadh which should garner a lot of attention both for the location and the match itself.

He'll get back to Spain for another week of practices, after which he'll set for Australia, where he doesn't seem likely to play anything until the Australian Open.

It's going to be a very interesting and crucial off-season for Alcaraz. He'll be on the road quite a bit, so we'll see whether that impacts his preparation. The choice to skip all prep events is interesting but not unusual.

He seems to follow the Djokovic method where he'll play himself into shape at the event. It's a court that suits his style of play perfectly and he could certainly pose a threat to both Djokovic and other players.
