The 2024 Halle Open will welcome the best in men's tennis from June 17th to 23rd.

This is an important stop on the road to Wimbledon, and the ATP's top stars will use this tournament as a tune-up for the grass-court major. Unsurprisingly, six of the world's Top 10 players will headline this ATP 500 event.

Jannik Sinner is expected to be the top seed. The newly-crowned World No. 1 will be joined by Daniil Medvedev, home favorite Alexander Zverev, two-time finalist Andrey Rublev, 2022 champion Hubert Hurkacz and Greek one-hander Stefanos Tsitsipas.

Defending champion Alexander Bublik will hope lightning can strike twice. His success last year will inspire the likes of Felix Auger-Aliassime, Tallon Griekspoor, and Christopher Eubanks, who have the arsenal to go deep in this tournament and potentially win it should the top seeds crumble.

The tournament will also see the return to action of Japanese star Kei Nishikori, who has been perturbed by career-threatening injuries in the last few years. He will use a protected ranking.

Details of prize money for the 2024 Halle Open have been released, with the tournament committing a financial package of €2,255,655, an approximately 2.7% increase from 12 months ago.

Each round, except for the player who wins the final, will see a surge in prize money compared to last season, with a marginal increase in total remuneration.

Still, the champion will walk away with a substantial paycheck of €421,790 and 500 points that will elevate his status in the world rankings. The runner-up, meanwhile, will earn €226,945 and receive 330 points.

The distribution starts with €17,595 and zero points for a first-round exit. Those who go a round further will pocket €32,990 and be awarded 50 points. The quarterfinalists will get 100 points and €61,800, while the semifinalists will get 200 points and €120,960.
