2024 Halle Open ATP Entry List - Sinner, Zverev, Medvedev & More

The Halle Open is one of the premier grass-court tournaments in professional tennis, and the 2024 edition will run from June 17th to 23rd.

This is one of six ATP tournaments that serve as a warm-up tournament for Wimbledon. It has been held each year since 1993 (except for 2020 due to the coronavirus pandemic).

It was upgraded to the 500 level in 2015. Switzerland's Roger Federer is the tournament's most decorated champion, having won a record ten titles. Last year, Alexander Bublik joined the winner's circle when he stunned Andrey Rublev in the championship match.

The unpredictable Kazakhstani will return to the fray to defend his crown but faces immense resistance to do so given the level of playing field. Six of the world's Top 10 have signed up to play the 2024 Halle Open, including the Australian Open champion Jannik Sinner.

Daniil Medvedev will make his third visit to Halle but has never won this tournament. He was on the losing end in the 2022 final. The Russian will be the third seed because he was recently overtaken by Alexander Zverev in the rankings after the conclusion of the Italian Open.

The German will be a home-crowd favorite. He lost to eventual champion Bublik in the semis last season. Zverev has twice made the final in Halle, losing to Florian Mayer (2016) and Roger Federer (2017).

Rublev is returning and will be the fourth seed, just above Hubert Hurkacz and Stefanos Tsitsipas. There are a vast number of big hitters. Felix Auger-Aliassime, Jan Lennard Struff, Christoper Eubanks, and Tallon Griekspoor have all committed to play.

Japan's Kei Nishikori will use a protected ranking after an injury absence. The tournament will offer four wild cards in the days preceding the main draw start, while four more players will battle two qualifying rounds. The entry list for the 2024 Halle Open can be seen below.
