Players who like clay courts will have a chance to return to this surface at the 2023 Bastad Open from July 17th to 23rd.

After the third Grand Slam of the season is over, for many is also the grass-court swing and they choose tournaments on their preferred surface. On the ATP Tour, there are many clay-court specialists, especially from the European and South American countries, so the entry list for the Bastad Open is always very competitive.

In 2022, Francisco Cerundolo won the tournament after a controversial match point, and the Argentinian will be back in 2023 to defend his title at the tournament also called the Swedish Open or the Nordea Open.

But this year, the title defence at the Båstad Tennis Stadium in Bastad, Sweden may be more difficult than the Argentinian expected as multiple players from the Top 10 of the ATP Rankings are coming to the ATP 250 tournament.

Casper Ruud leads the entry list and he's joined by fellow Top 10 member Andrey Rublev, who will also compete in Bastad. Alexander Zverev is another player who spent majority of his career in the Top 10, and the German will too compete at the 2023 Bastad Open.

But that's only the beginning. Lorenzo Musetti, Tallon Griekspoor, Tomas Martin Etcheverry, Alejandro Davidovich Fokina, and last year's finalist Sebastian Baez will all come to Bastad. The entry list for the 2023 edition of the tournament is really star-studded, so you should certainly check it out below.
