2024 Roland Garros Women's Draw With Swiatek, Sabalenka, Gauff & More

The draw for the 2024 Roland Garros women's tournament was made, and it promises a fortnight of exciting action in Paris.
From May 26th to June 9th, the best of the best will compete at the second Grand Slam of the season in the French capital. Almost traditionally, Iga Swiatek is the defending champion and also the top seed, and the 'Queen of the Clay' will be eyeing already her fourth trophy at the French Open.
However, there will be many players standing in her way and one of them will be a fellow four-time major winner, Naomi Osaka. The Pole will start against one of the qualifiers in the opening round and if she wins the match, she will play against the winner of the match between Osaka and Lucia Bronzetti in the second round.
One of her main rivals at the event, even though one that she beat recently in the Rome final, will be Aryna Sabalenka. The Belarusian is the second seed at the event, and she will start against Erika Andreeva, with a possible second-round match against one of the qualifiers.
Sabalenka's possible third-round matchup can prove to be a real problem as she can meet former US Open champion, Sloane Stephens, or former world no. 2, Paula Badosa, or the 26th-seeded Katie Boulter.
The second seed should be a favourite in all of those matches, but if she wants to possibly challenge Swiatek in the final again, she may have to play one match, where she won't be that big of a favourite.
Elena Rybakina is the fourth seed at the tournament, and she's in Sabalenka's part of the draw. The Kazakhstani player will start against Greet Minnen in the first round, and like the top-seeded Swiatek, she, too, can play against a former world no. 1 in the second round, taking on the winner of the match between Angelique Kerber and Arantxa Rus.
Since Rybakina is in Sabalenka's part of the draw, that naturally means that the third-seeded Coco Gauff is once again in Swiatek's part. The young American will start her tournament against one of the qualifiers, and in the second round, she can play another qualifier or Alison Van Uytvanck.

- IDK, it looks like to me that Raducanu should praise herself and her team for 'gaming the system' as in playing the points and ranking game. When you look at her season of wild cards, skipping tournaments (including the Paris Olympics!), retiring from losing matches and avoiding qualifying rounds, it seems like there was some plan to move up the ranks without actually playing a lot of tennis.
