The 2024 Roland Garros will run between May 26th and June 9th, and the draw for the men's tournament was revealed.
The second major of the season has a potential to be a historic one, as there are just too many great storylines unfolding at the clay-court Grand Slam in the French capital.
Novak Djokovic is the top seed at the tournament, and he can become the first player ever to win 25 majors. He's also the defending champion, and he will start against home wild card, Pierre-Hugues Herbert in the first round, hoping to follow up on his efforts from Geneva.
Another storyline will follow 14-time champion of the tournament, Rafael Nadal, who may play his last French Open ever. The draw was ruthless to him, as he will start against the fourth-seeded Alexander Zverev in the first round. This matchup is in Djokovic's half of the draw, meaning that either may play against the Serbian in the semi-finals.
On the other side of the draw is the second-seeded Jannik Sinner, who has a very difficult draw, taking on Christopher Eubanks in the first round. On top of that, he can play against former champion of the event, Stan Wawrinka, or former world no. 1, Andy Murray, in the third round, as the two legends will meet in round one.
In the Italian's draw is his young rival, Carlos Alcaraz, who will start against one of the qualifiers in the first round, but already in the second round, he can face a difficult opponent, as Jack Draper will also play against a qualifier.
