Jannik Sinner remained at the World No. 1 spot in the latest edition of the ATP Rankings despite being banned from competing.

Sinner's lead at No. 1 was unchanged. He sits on 10,330 points, 2685 ahead of Alexander Zverev at No. 2 on 7,645. The three-time Grand Slam champion has been No. 1 since overtaking Novak Djokovic after the 2024 French Open.

Carlos Alcaraz is at No. 3 with 6,720 points. Alcaraz and Zverev have until the 2025 Italian Open next month to reduce the gap to Sinner at No. 1. He will return from his suspension on home soil in Rome.

Jack Draper's inactivity last week did not stop the Briton from reaching a new milestone in the latest ATP Rankings. Draper won the most significant title of his career at the 2025 Indian Wells Open.

That run to glory included defeating Carlos Alcaraz in a semifinal that included controversy involving the VAR review system.

After losing to Jakub Mensik in the round of 64 at the 2025 Miami Open, Draper understandably decided to take some time off and not play in the opening week of the clay court swing last week.

However, that did not stop Draper from moving up one spot to No. 6, his career-best ranking. The 23-year-old's rise to the cusp of the Top 5 is incredible for a player who was barely known to tennis fans just a couple of years ago.

Draper jumping a place was facilitated by Casper Ruud dropping to No. 7. The Norwegian chose to play at Ultimate Tennis Showdown last week in Nimes, France. He won the exhibition by beating Tomas Machac in the final.

That meant Ruud did not defend his 90 ranking points from reaching the semifinal of the 2024 Estoril Open. That was enough for Draper to move 15 points ahead of him, and the Briton does not have many points to defend from last year's clay court swing, making reaching the Top 5 possible.

The only change in the Top 10 was Draper and Ruud's switching places. Taylor Fritz is No. 4, Novak Djokovic is No. 5, Stefanos Tsitsipas is No. 8, Andrey Rublev is No. 9, and Alex de Minaur is No. 9.

Jenson Brooksby made an extraordinary leap in the rankings after his fantastic run to the 2025 Houston Open title. He saved match points in three matches before beating Frances Tiafoe in the final.

That achievement led to him rising an incredible 335 places to No. 172. Brooskby's ranking dropped after being banned due to missing three doping tests and then being injured, which made his triumph in Houston even more emotional.

Flavio Cobolli was rewarded for winning the 2025 Bucharest Open title, leaping nine places from No. 45 to No. 36. The runner-up Sebastian Baez jumped three places to No. 33, pushing him closer to the Top 30.

Luciano Darderi was another Italian title winner who moved nine places. He defeated Tallon Griekspoor to secure the Marrakech Open title, which took him to No. 36. Griekspoor moved two spots to No. 35.

Other changes in the ATP rankings included Matteo Berrettini dropping seven places to No. 34, Hubert Hurkacz falling four positions to No. 26, and Alex Michelsen moving down three spots to No. 37.
