Carlos Alcaraz closed up on Jannik Sinner and Alexander Zverev in the newest edition of the ATP Rankings.

While the top two ranked players in the world, who both also played in the Australian Open final, chose to rest during the last week, other players got to work.

Despite not playing, Sinner's and Zverev's position in the ATP Rankings didn't change. The Italian player remains No. 1 with 11,830 points to his name. He didn't lose his points for winning the Rotterdam Open last year, as those will come off the following week since the tournament in the Netherlands was moved to an earlier week this year.

Zverev also didn't lose any points this week. The German player is still ranked second with 8,135 points to his name. On the other hand, Alcaraz was on the tennis courts, and he did well.

The Spanish player won the Rotterdam Open, which was his first indoor hardcourt title. Thanks to his win in Rotterdam, Alcaraz added 500 points to his name. That brought his total up to 7,510, catching up to Sinner and Zverev despite not moving up the rankings.

Positions of the fourth and fifth Taylor Fritz and Casper Ruud remained unchanged as well. The American player lost in the second round of the Dallas Open and added 50 points to his name to bring his total to 5,100 points.

Ruud, on the other hand, lost in the final. The Norwegian player earned 330 points thanks to playing in the Dallas Open final, and after losing 10 points, he improved his total by 320 points. He now has 4,480 points.

The biggest, and the only positive, mover in the Top 10 was Alex de Minaur. The Australian player played in the final in Rotterdam, and he now has 4,015 points as the World No. 6 player.

His move sent two players down the order. Novak Djokovic is now ranked as the World No. 7 with 3,900 points, while Daniil Medvedev is ranked eighth with 3,830 points. The ninth, Tommy Paul, with 3,445 points, and the tenth, Andrey Rublev, with 3,270 points, close out the Top 10.

Although there were some minor moves between positions 10 and 30, none of the players moved in any significant way, with all of them moving by only one or two positions.

But the biggest mover of the week is ranked just outside of the Top 30. Denis Shapovalov won the Dallas Open, and thanks to earning 500 points, he moved up by 22 places to the World No. 32 position. He has 1,521 points to his name.

Mattia Bellucci, who played in the semi-finals in Rotterdam as a qualifier, also made a big move up in the rankings. The 23-year-old Italian player improved his position by 24 places to the World No. 68 spot.

This week, players will have a chance to add points at three ATP 250 tournaments. The Marseille Open, the Delray Beach Open, and the Argentina Open will all run at the same time from February 10th until 16th.
