2025 US Open Women's Singles Draw With Gauff, Sabalenka, Swiatek, Rybakina

The draw is set for the last Grand Slam of the season, with top WTA players competing for the trophy at the 2025 US Open.

The 2025 US Open will start on August 24th, with the women's singles champions being crowned on September 6th. Last year, Aryna Sabalenka won the title, and she will want to prove her hard-court dominance once more this year.

The Belarusian player is the top seed in the women's singles draw, starting against Rebeka Masarova. Her opponents will get progressively more challenging, and in the third round, Sabalenka could play against fellow US Open finalist Leylah Fernandez.

But that's not everything from Sabalenka's nightmare draw. Elena Rybakina is the ninth seed, and her name was the one that everyone wanted to avoid. For Sabalenka, Rybakina will be the potential quarter-final opponent. The Kazakhstani player will start against American teenager Julieta Pareja.

On the opposite side of the draw is the second-seeded Iga Swiatek, whose chances of winning the title at the US Open significantly improved after her success at Wimbledon and in Cincinnati. The Polish player will be challenged by Emiliana Arango in the first round.

Swiatek, too, can meet a dangerous opponent already in the third round. She could play against Anna Kalinskaya, who managed to provide some resistance when they met in Cincinnati.

Coco Gauff will be the player who will probably receive the most support from the home crowd. She is a former champion, but her draw isn't easy either. Gauff will start against former World No. 32, Ajla Tomljanovic.

Jessica Pegula is the last year's finalist and the No. 4 seed. The American player will play against Mayar Sherif in the first round, landing in Sabalenka's half of the draw.

There will be plenty of exciting first-round matches as well. Legendary Venus Williams returns to Flushing Meadows, but her first-round opponent will be a difficult one. The American legend will play against Karolina Muchova.

Mirra Andreeva will be one of the dark horses in the draw. She is the fifth seed, but like many favorites, she will play against a difficult opponent in the first round. The teenage Russian will play against Alycia Parks.
